The Ecological particleboard realized with 100% post-consumer wood, FSC Certified and with the lowest formaldehyde emissions worldwide.
In Europe for example the emission limit is 0,1 ppm, and the correspondent particleboard is called E1.
In Japan the emission classification is relative to the use of the product and the particleboards are classified from F* to F****.
LEB emissions are below F**** value (the strictest) and 5 times below E1.
About the controls, considering that LEB is destined to the worldwide market, the Group has engaged the CATAS Institute to guarantee the LEB characteristics, keeping under constant control the emissions.
After one year of tests, Catas has issued the product certification.
CATAS’ tests are made in according with the EN European laws and the JIS Japanese law. The result is a certificate valid all over the world that certificate that LEB is the ecological particleboard with the lowest formaldehyde emission in the world.
About the certification, is important to underline that, together with CATAS, the Group has established laws to control every single step of the productive process of the LEB, to assure that the entire production responds according to CATAS standards.
Furthermore, the Mauro Saviola Group has adopted an internal regulation about inspections and production controls to guarantee the complete chain of custody and the traceability of the product.
No other companies in the world are able to push so far the boundaries of the Research and Technology to find sustainable particleboards for the furniture sector.
LEB confirms, once again, the farsightedness and the ability of the Mauro Saviola Group to read the market and its needs ant to never be satisfied, constantly driven by the willingness to find always the best solution. As it did in the past with the Ecological Panel, the only particleboard in the world made of 100% recycled wood, a characteristic that is still resisting and that, thanks to LEB, now is improving its value.
